Copyright infringement notice

A written notice should include:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if several works are involved.
3. The exact URL and enough detail to locate the material claimed to infringe.
4. Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
5. A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
6. A statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act.

How we respond

We may remove or disable access to material after reviewing a valid notice and may notify the affected publisher or account holder. We may request missing information before acting.

Counter-notice

A person whose material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification may submit a counter-notice containing:

1. A physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the removed material and its location before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
4. Name, address, telephone number, email address and consent to the jurisdiction and service-of-process requirements applicable under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).

Repeat infringement and abuse

Where appropriate, we may suspend or terminate accounts associated with repeated infringement. We may reject notices that are incomplete, abusive or clearly unrelated to copyright.
